I grew up on the Eastern Shore in Cape Charles, graduated from Cape Charles High School in 1974 and joined the Coast Guard, serving my country for 4 years. Upon discharge I attended Virginia Wesleyan College earning my Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1985. I worked for Virginia Coast Reserve Long Term Ecological Research for 15 years before obtaining my RE license in 2003. I am actively involved with our association, being a past president and board member. Besides spending time with my sons, I can't think of anything more enjoyable than being on the Chesapeake Bay fishing.
